Created by Repo Jack, a Gen X dude who was fortunate to grow up in the 1970s and 1980s. RepoJack was the GamerTag he created for Xbox 20 years ago so he could play Halo with his seven-year-old son. Think Repo Man meets F. Paul Wilson’s Repairman Jack.

Repo’s been drawn to the dark side ever since his Catholic mom handed him The Exorcist in 1978 to get him to stop reading Iron Man comics. After that scared the bejesus out of him, he was scarred for life by Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot, George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, and the coup de grace, John Carpenter’s The Thing, in a good way. Those books and movies profoundly impacted his world and solidified his love for horror, sci-fi, and dark thrillers.

Repo’s been reviewing movies on Letterboxd for years, but that platform has its limitations. You can’t post anything that isn’t a review, and it doesn’t include TV, a medium that is filled with dark and edgy goodness.

Here, we’ll share our favorite reviews and start adding content that we hope you find interesting.
